Metric vs Imperial Units
Unit conversions are common when switching between metric and imperial systems for length, weight, temperature, and volume. People often search for cm to inches, kg to lbs, Celsius to Fahrenheit, or liters to gallons when traveling, cooking, shopping, or studying.
Why Temperature Conversions Are Different
Most unit conversions use a fixed multiplication factor, but temperature conversions also require an offset. That is why converting between C, F, and K is not as simple as multiplying by a single constant.
